[place of job advertisement] - If you are not responding to an advertisement, just delete this part. Or if you heard about the position from someone particular, you can say 'I was informed by [the person's name] that there was an opeing'.
'I have carefully reviewed the requirements for this role and I am confident that you will find that I am a suitable candidate' - It's important to show that you are not just applying to 100 different places. A lot of times people will just apply to 100 different places and hope that one of them says yes. But this is not good for someone reading the letter. They can usually tell. So if you say 'I have carefully reviewed the requirements for this role and I am confident that you will find that I am a suitable candidate', it gives them more hope that you understand the position.
[insert relevant fact] - Do your research on a website
'challenge this would present' - Why do you want to say this ? Well, first of all, it shows that you are a positive person. You don't think that this is just going to be easy. You're not taking the job lightly, like all you want is the money. It shows that you're excited to actually do the work that your company will ask you to do. You're saying you're excited about the challenge. So that means the actual work will be the reward for you, not just the money.
[achievements/characteristics] - You can say either achievements or characteristics. It depends on how much experience you have. If you have expericence, you want to say achievements or perhaps accomplishments or even qualifications. But if you're new to this work, if you don't have a lot of experience, yo might want to say characteristics and talk about, what you are, who you are as a character, and how. And you still need to demonstrate this with different relevant facts.
[Insert relevant fact] - Put some relevant facts here. Don't put too many. I would say put 3 to 5. 3 to 5 is a good amount. If you put only one or two, then they might question whether you have enough qualifications.
'You may contact me for an interview or further questions by email or by calling [phone number].' - You are expecting an interview. You are not expecting just for them to give you a job. They will need to interview you before giving a full time employment position. That is very standard. So it's good to say at the end that you would like an interview, not that you would like the position.
